Lauren Fleshman, the seventh place finisher in the 5000-meter run at the 2011 World Championships in 15:09.25, will make her 26.2-mile debut at the ING New York City Marathon on November 6. Her 2011 track season also included a victory  in the 5000 at the Aviva Grand Prix in London in 15:00.57.
