Kim Smith after leading and dropping out of 2011 Boston Marathon. Kim Smith lead through the half way point running under 1:11:00 and but around mile 15 or 16 her calf seized up. Kim ran about 3 miles with her injury and was passed by the field, eventually having to drop out of the Boston Marathon.
