Over the past two years @MilesBatty has run his best races early. Last year at Oxy he ran a season's best 3:37 and in 2011 a 3:36 at Mt. SAC. The former collegiate indoor mile record holder (3:54) has changed things up since graduating from BYU. He has made the move to higher elevation in Park City, Utah (still does most track work in Provo) and has been focusing on more strength throughout the early portion of the season as he is not forced to race as much being out of the college system. This Friday Batty will run the 1500 against the best at Oxy where he will test himself to see where he fares as he looks to USAs in late June.
Check out all Oxy entries here.
