Blake started her international racing career ten years ago, placing third at the 1999 Pan-American Games 5k. Most recently, she placed third in the 2008 Olympic Trials marathon, and later placed 27th in the Beijing Olympics. During these ten years, she has won several notable races, including the 2004 Twin Cities Marathon (2:30), USATF 20k Championship (2005), USATF 8k Cross Country Championship (2006), and USATF 15k Championship (2006). With personal bests of 15:10 (5k), 31:35 (10k), and 2:29 (marathon) and two world championships appearances, her other top performances include 2004 Olympic Trials (fourth), 2005 Chicago Marathon (sixth), 2007 USATF 10k (second), and 2008 USATF 10k (fifth). Was 4th in the 10k at the USATF National Outdoor Championships in Des Moines IA. In 2011 Blake was 5th at the USA Cross Country Champions and wen on to place 19th at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Punta UmbrÂa
